Matthew 24: 8-38
8 But all this is the beginning of sorrows.
9 Then you will be troubled, and they will kill you. Ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
10 At that time many will be scandalized, betray and hate each other;
11 Many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.
12 And because iniquity shall multiply, love shall grow cold for almost all.
13 But Aqeule, that endureth to the end, and he shall be saved.
14 And this gospel shall be preached unto the end, the same shall be saved.
15 And when ye shall see the abomination of the desolation, spoken of by the prophet Daniel, in the holy place
(whoever you read understands),
16 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains;
17 Let him that is on the housetop go not down to take anything out of the house;
18 And let him that is in the field come not back, and seek his garment.
19 Woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
20 Pray that your flight will not be in winter or on the Sabbath.
21 For at that time there will be great tribulation, as it has been from the beginning of the world until now there has been and will never be.
22 If those days had not been shortened, no one would be saved; but for the elect's sake these days shall be shortened.
23 And if any man say unto you, Behold the Christ! Or: Hey it inside the house! Believe me.
24 For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, working great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, the elect themselves.
25 See, I have foretold it to you.
26 Therefore if they say unto you, Behold, he is in the wilderness; Or: Hey it in the house! Do not believe it.
27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and is seen even unto the west, so shall the coming of the Son of man be.
28 Where the corpse is, there the vultures will gather.
29 And immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun shall be darkened, the moon shall not give her light, the stars shall fall from the expanse, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.
30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven; all the peoples of the earth will mourn and see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory
31 And he shall send forth his angels with a great trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
32 And learn the parable of the fig tree: when the branches thereof are renewed, and the leaves spring forth, ye know that the summer is nigh.
