Matthew 13: 10-23 - Typing and Meditating the Bible

13,10 Then the disciples came and asked him, "Why do you speak to them in parables?

11 And he answered, Because it is given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but it is not given to you.

12 For unto him that hath shall be given, and shall have abundance; But to him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.

13 Therefore I speak to you in parables; For seeing, they see not; And when they hear, they hear not, nor understand.

14 So that the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled in them: Ye shall hear with the ears, and in no wise understand; You will see with your eyes and you will not perceive.

15 For the hearts of these people are hardened, they have listened with their ears, and closed their eyes; Lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, that they may be converted and be healed by me.

16 Blessed are your eyes, for they see; And your ears, for they hear.

17 For verily I say unto you, that many prophets and righteous men have desired to see what ye see, and have not seen; And hear what you hear, and they have not heard.

18 Take heed therefore to the parable of the sower.

19 To all who hear the word of the kingdom, and understand it not, the wicked one cometh, and taketh away that which is sown in their heart. This is he who was sown by the wayside.

20 What was sown on rocky soil, is he that heareth the word, and receiveth it, and is scandalized.

22 What is sown among the thorns is he who hears the word, but the cares of the world and the fascination of riches choke the word, and it is unfruitful.

23 But that which was sown in the good land is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; This fruit, and produces one hundred, sixty and thirty per one.
